Bieber's Purpose World Tour's India gig was a super hit with as many as 45,000 people had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite 'Baby' hitmaker. Tickets for the 23-year-old Prince of Pop's performance were priced upwards of Rs 5,000, and access to the most expensive zone was priced at Rs 75,000. A red carpet was laid out for all the celebrities expected to attend the gala night. Norwegian DJ Alan Walker took centre stage before Bieber enthralled the desi audience with his electric performance.


As many as 500 police personnel and 25 officers were deployed for security, while Bieber had Bollywood star Salman Khan's personal bodyguard Shera accompanying him.


He sang one of his most popular number 'Sorry' as his closing act waving the Indian flag.


With Bieber hinting at a comeback, will India see more international icons performing here—only time will tell!
