The actress-turned-author took to her Instagram on Sunday and shared a sweet morning picture. In the picture, Akshay is sitting on the driver's seat in an auto rickshaw and Twinkle has occupied the passenger seat. She captioned the picture saying, "My perfect Sunday though it may seem insane to some! Woke up at 4 am and got in a solid 2 and a half hours of undisturbed writing time, a brisk walk with my dog and some goofing around with my rather cute rickshaw driver-All before 9 am:) #TheEarlyBird #TryIt"

Akshay and Twinkle have been married for 17 years. While Akshay is more reserved and careful about expressing his opinions, Twinkle never minces her words and says it like it is without a filter. Their ideologies in any matter are always poles apart.

In an old interview with a leading daily, Twinkle had talked about their ideologies, "I'd say our social, political ideologies, sense of humour, are very different. What's interesting is that after the first few years, we gave up trying to change each other. What we did instead was a start to learn from each other. Luckily all his strengths are my weaknesses and vice versa. What would I learn if we were more like each other anyway? I really believe two peas in a pod died of inertia. And we are not like that. So we continue to grow. Marriages essentially fail, when you try to clone the other person to become like you, it's not possible."

Akshay's last released film 'Padman' based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganathan was produced by Twinkle Khanna.
