Velumani spent 15 years at BARC Mumbai, honing his expertise in the medical field. This experience helped him lay the groundwork for starting his own business, which would later revolutionize diagnostics in India.

With limited resources, Velumani founded Thyrocare Technologies, a network of diagnostic and preventive care laboratories. His vision was to make healthcare affordable and accessible to the masses.

Starting from humble beginnings, Velumani’s relentless hard work transformed Thyrocare into a billion-dollar enterprise. As of April, the company’s market value soared to Rs 3300 crore, a testament to his leadership.

Despite his success, Velumani admitted to losing Rs 1400 crore in a startup investment. Instead of letting it hold him back, he used it as a lesson in resilience, continuing to push forward with his ventures.
