‘Nightingale of India’ Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last on Sunday (February 6) at 8.12 am. Lata suffered from multiple organ failure post Covid-19. She was 92 years old. The legendary singer had a career spanning almost eight decades and sang in more than 35 Indian languages. She is the recipient of three National Film Awards, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Bharat Ratna, among other honours.
