Veteran actor Viju Khote, popular for playing the iconic role of 'Kaalia' in Sholay breathed his last on Monday. He was 78. The actor is survived by sister Shubha Khote, niece Bhavana Balsavar and Ashwin Balsavar. Viju has acted in more than 400 films in his illustrious career covering both Hindi and Marathi cinema. He died in his sleep at his residence this morning reportedly after suffering from multiple organ failure. Several Bollywood stars condoled his untimely demise on social media and paid their last respects. His last rites were performed in Mumbai on September 30 2019. Photos:
