Duleep Trophy 2024: Musheer Khan Breaks Sachin Tendulkar`s Record

Musheer Khan who is the brother of Sarfaraz Khan, hogged all the spotlight for India B after smashing a terrific century against Shubman Gill's India A in Duleep Trophy 2024, held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

On the back of this hundred, the 19-year-old batter has breached a long-standing feat held by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Musheer Khan came up with a marathon innings, making 181 off 373 deliveries for India B.

Musheer's outstanding knock marks the third-highest individual score by a teenager on debut in the Duleep Trophy.

Earlier, the record was held by Sachin Tendulkar, who collected 159 on his debut for West Zone against East Zone in 1991.

The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja are not taking part in the Duleep Trophy. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan on the other hand have been sidelined for the first-round matches due to injuries.
