MS Dhoni broke former Australia captain Ricky Ponting's record of most matches played as the captain across all formats. Dhoni led India in 332 matches which is 8 more than Ponting and won 178 while losing 120 of them. Dhoni also has the record of most wins as the Indian captain, 110 out of 200 ODI matches.
