Jaipur: Five people were killed and seven injured in two road accidents in Rajasthan today, police said.

In Jaisalmer district, three people were killed and seven injured when a speeding bus overturned at a steep turn, SHO of the Lathi Police Station Mohan Lal said.


The deceased were identified as Snehlata Chauhan (45), Anand Java (36) and Sanjay Gupta (37), the SHO said, adding that a case was registered against the bus driver.


In Churu district, a truck loaded with marble plunged off a railway bridge, killing two people, Mahendra Singh, the head constable of Dudhwa Khara Police Station said.


The victims were yet to be identified, the police said.
