New Delhi: Indian director SS Rajamouli's 'Bahubali 2: The Conclusion' has reportedly created history by crossing 100 crore nett on the very first day of its release. Yes, you read that right!

According to the Box Office India report, the first day looks to be closing in the 35-40 crore nett range for the Hindi version.


The movie, starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah, was released in over 6500 screens in India and over 9000 screens across the world, the highest for an Indian film till date, 'Bahubali 2: The Conclusion' is setting new records at the Box Office.


Though the exact numbers are to be revealed soon, the estimates are as follows:


Hindi Markets - 35,00,00,000 (includes all versions released in Mumbai, North, Central and Eastern India)


Andhra - 45,00,00,000


Tamil Nadu - 14,00,00,000


Karnataka - 10,00,00,000


Kerala - 4,00,00,000



Talking about the official BO figures, filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted on Saturday, "UNTHINKABLE and UNIMAGINABLE HIGHEST EVER DAY 1....data being tabulated ..will take a while!!! Watch this space for the number! #Baahubali."


Keeping all the fanfare in mind, 'Bahubali 2: The Conclusion' will now most probably emerge as the biggest blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema.
