Before entering active politics, Jayalalithaa had cast an impressive spell on moviegoers with her acting skills. Actress Sridevi, who had begun her career as a child artiste, was fortunate to share screen space with Tamil Nadu’s iron lady.

Deeply saddened by the irreparable loss, Sridevi took to Twitter to share a classic movie still featuring her and the Late Tamil Nadu CM.

Sridevi tweeted: “The most articulate dignified, cultured & caring lady, lucky to have worked with her. I Along with millions of our people will miss her (sic).”

The image looks like a still from Tamil film ‘Aathi Parasakthi’ released in 1971 in which Jayalalithaa portrayed the role of Goddess Shakti and Sridevi essayed Lord Kartikeya.
