Cold wave sweeps Himachal Pradesh, Shimla records 7.5 degrees celsius

Shimla which was at a minimum of 7.5, also recorded a fall from Monday`s 8.5 degrees Celsius.
The headquarters of the Lahaul-Spiti district was the coldest in the state.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus one degree Celsius, while it was 9.6 degrees Celsius at Dharamsala in Kangra, a Met office release said.
The Met office said the dry weather would continue in the mid hills but there were chances of rain and snow in the higher reaches in Kullu, Kinnaur, Chamba and Lahaul-Spiti districts.
