According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Thakur met DDCA officials and government nominees on Thursday to assess the situation.

With Feroz Shah Kotla also being assigned the responsibility to host a World T20 match early next year, the BJP MP took stock of things as the state association is in a mess.

“The BCCI secretary was quite blunt, he told them the BCCI will be forced to take action if the interests of players and cricket is compromised. He asked them to convince him how they can stage the Test of the World T20 tie if they can’t even ensure a warm-up T20 game is staged,” a source was quoted as saying in the report.
