The left-arm pacer picked up two wickets in the warm-up T20 game against Western Australia XI.

Though he did not strike in the warm-up ODI, Sran was economical and conceded just 22 runs in his seven-over spell.

"He has been impressive in the two games that he has played,” India's bowling coach Bharat Arun told reporters late Saturday.

Sran earned a call-up to the national side after having played only eight List A matches.

Accuracy and not pace is considered his strong suit.
