The opener continued from where he left off at the WACA with a fine 124-run knock at Brisbane.

Rohit hit 11 fours and 3 sixes before being unluckily run out after having played 127 balls.

The 28-year-old has often polarised the cricketing fraternity by not converting starts into big runs.
