Pathan took his maiden five-wicket haul in T20 to help Baroda open their account in the 2015-16 season of the Syed Muhstaq Ali tournament with a resounding win.


Batting first in the Group C match, Baroda made 168 for 8, then thanks to Pathan's exploits. Then reduced Assam to 116 for nine, thus registering a 49-run victory.


In another Group C match on the opening day of India's premier domestic T20 tournament, Ishwar Pandey picked up his maiden four-for which included a hat-trick.


The Madhya Pradesh fast bowler restricted Andhra to 95 for 7 in 20 Overs. Then, Madhya Pradesh chased down the target with relative eases, winning the match by five wickets.
