As England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is ready to give their players more exposure with white ball, Bayliss feels this could be a possibility for the the 25-year-old Lancashire batsman.

"It's something we've spoken about. If the opportunity arrives and he (Buttler) is not in the Test team and the IPL window is a possibility, I'd be all for it," said Bayliss to PTI.

Till last season of the cash-rich T20 tournament, English board was unwilling to send their players to the league.

This year's IPL is scheduled to be played between April 8 and May 29.
