New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big announcement today, scrapping off the Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes from mid night onwards.
Considering the India vs England Test series starts off tomorrow in Rajkot, Twitteratis poked fun on the scenario hoping BCCI has enough Rs. 10, 20, 50 and 100 notes.
Just today, BCCI were given green light to spend 58.66 lakhs on the 1st Test but how are they going to spend that considering the bigger currency notes are banned is certainly a hilarious scenario.
England cricket team, who are supposed to bear their own expenses in the 1st Test would also find this scenario extremely ammusing considering they would already have got the Indian currency with them.
