New Delhi: What's the point of having VIP seats if the view is blocked or the view is not first class? A traveling England fan just witnessed such a view issue during the first day's play of fifth and final Test match between India and England in Chennai.

The Indian cricket board generously posted a video, capturing the venerable fan praying the window cleaner to give her a better view even as the day's play was coming to a close.


It happened during the 88th over, when a couple of window cleaners stranded towards the boxed gallery of at Chepauk, and blocking the view.

England, fighting to salvage some pride after losing the series, have produced a brilliant day of Test cricket with Moeen Ali registering his second hundred of the series. He was brilliantly supported by Root, who made 88 off 144 balls.


At Stumps, England were 284/4 with Ali unbeaten on 120 off 222 balls, and Ben Stokes at 5 off 29.


For India, Ravindra Jadeja took three wicket after just-married Ishant Sharma provided India the first wicket.​
