However, the Nawab of Nazafgarh has one regret till date.

Viru revealed it while doing commentary on Day 2 of the third Test between India and New Zealand at Indore.

The Delhi dynamo was asked about that one regret he had from his playing days, by fellow commentators VVS Laxman and Deep Das Gupta.

Without batting an eyelid, Sehwag said he always wanted to score 400 runs in an innings in Tests.

Sehwag, whose highest score in whites is 319 against South Africa in Chennai in 2008, said that he rues missing over the chance of hitting 400 runs as he had the opportunity.

The conversation began when Viru asked the question to Laxman.
