On Day 2 of the third Test, there was this one incident where Jadeja could have seriously hurt Kiwi pacer Trent Boult.

Jadeja was sprinting for a single as Boult fell down after completing his delivery stride. Both came in which of each other and instead of running besides Boult, Jadeja jumped over him.

While there was no injury caused, had Boult tried to get up while Jadeja was jumping, it could have led to some serious injury.

Jadeja was at the centre of a controversy as well when he was issued a second warning for running in middle of the pitch. As a result of that, India were handed over a 5-run penalty which was added to New Zealand's score even before they faced a ball.
