New Delhi: The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) has decided to felicitate retiring Virender Sehwag on the final day of the fourth Test between India and South Africa in the upcoming series.

According to Times Now, Sehwag, who announced his retirement from international cricket on October 20, will be honoured by the Indian board for his immense contribution to Indian cricket.


Notably, the BCCI had also honoured Zaheer Khan during the fifth ODI at Wankhede. The speedster was handed over a momento by batting legend Sachin Tendulkar.


Notably, Sehwag is the latest high-profile cricketer to join the All-Star Series in the United States, promoted by Tendulkar and Shane Warne.


Sehwag will leave for the US after playing Haryana's next Ranji Trophy encounter against Bengal at Lahli which starts from October 30. Sehwag chose to play for Haryana and moved from Delhi this season.
