New Delhi: Test skipper Virat Kohli has turned 27 on Thursday as he is leading Team India in the opening Test against South Afirica at PCA Stadium, Mohali.

The Delhi-lad became the first Indian to score a century on World Cup début. He achieved this feat while playing against Bangladesh.


He holds the record of highest runs in an innings against Pakistan. In 2012 Asia Cup, Kohli scored a blistering 183 off 148 balls against the neighbouring country, surpassing Brian Lara's record of 156 runs.
