Lahore: Pakistan’s Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that trade relations between India and Pakistan are in the interest of both countries.
He said that the promotion of trade and commerce between both countries would eliminate poverty and open up new avenues of development. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 2nd Lahore Expo, Shahbaz said that augmenting trade ties in the wake of terrorism is a welcome step, which will encourage those associated with trade and industrial sectors.
Pakistan`s Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) had earlier organised a conference on `` Pakistan-India Trade Potential`` to promote free trade with India in Lahore. Shahbaz Sharif had presided over the event. ANI
