Jaya directs MP to take steps to bring back bodies
Ten Indians were among 19 people killed when a small plane carrying them crashed and broke into pieces at Kotdanda hills near the Nepalese capital.
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa
on Sunday directed party colleague and Tiruchirappalli MP P Kumar
to take all steps for retrieving the bodies of eight persons
from the state killed in an air crash in Nepal.
She also directed Kumar to take relatives of the victims to identify and bring the bodies to Tiruchirappalli, a state government release here said. Eight of the ten victims killed in the accident hailed from Tiruchirappalli.
Jayalalithaa also deputed Animal Husbandry Minster NR Sivapathy to meet the grieving relatives to console them, the release added.
