According to report on Sportskeeda, apart from JSW, a US-based consortium Chalak Mitra too has set its sights on RCB.

The Chalak Mitra Group, known for their restaurant chains in Houston, recently acquired Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Jamaica Tallawahs.

Representatives of the company were in India to hold meetings with IPL officials and franchise owners to get a better picture of the cricket-franchise business in the country.

RPG Enterprises Chairman Harsh Goenka too is said to be interested in acquiring the Virat Kohli-led side.

“I cannot get into details, but yes they were in India to discuss all things IPL. Will not comment further on this issue,” a source close to RCB told SK.
