New Delhi: Tickets for the final of the 2016 Indian Premier League have reportedly been sold out within a couple of hours.

According to a report in the Deccan Herald, fans were queuing up as early as 8 am, three hours before the opening of counters at 11 am.


Qouting Karnataka State Cricket Association sources, the report said that tickets were sold out within two hours, leaving many disappointed.


The sale of online tickets ranging from Rs 750 to Rs 25,000, which began on May 13, were also sold out.


The final will be played at the historic Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Sunday. With home team Royal Challengers Bangalore making it to the final, it was only understandable to witness a "sold-out".


RCB will play the winner of tomorrow's Qualifier 2 between Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
