New Delhi: Kings XI Punjab player Glenn Maxwell on Friday rubbished reports of brawl involving Shaun Marsh, and also slammed the sensationalism created out of team's poor showing in the 2016 season of Indian Premier League.

The Aussie all-rounder posted a series of tweets defending the team's decision to send the injured compatriot Marsh back home for recuperation.


In an earlier post, posted today, Maxwell said Marsh "was in agony in the field last game he played". Kings Xi Punjab lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore by one run on Monday.


Later in the day, Maxwell shared a lengthy note, wherein he admitted that there were small errors in the previous games.
