Speaking to Livemint, Bumrah revealed that he learnt the traits of bowling pin-point yorkers from Sri Lankan speedster Lasith Malinga.

"I have been doing this for my state side in domestic cricket. My captain (Parthiv Patel) trusted me during the death overs and that gave me confidence in my skill. Later on, when I joined Mumbai Indians, Malinga taught me some more relevant things about bowling yorkers," he said.

The 22-year-old pacer added that the team will try its best to win the upcoming ICC World Twenty20.

"We will try to do our best. Before the World Cup, there are some important tournaments in which we would like to do well. And, of course, winning the World Cup at home will be the ultimate thing," he said.

Bumrah picked eight wickets from one ODI and three T20Is against Australia and bagged three wickets from as many matches against Sri Lanka in the recently concluded series.
