New Delhi: A day after the Australian cricket team gave him a winning farewell, Australia's retiring skipper Michael Clarke on Monday thanked the fans for all the memories during his career.

Clarke, who had a forgettable Ashes series as per his own standards, shared a rare childhood photograph on Twitter.



Clarke had announced his retirement after Australia surrendered the urn to their rivals post a humiliating defeat in the fourth Ashes Test.


Clarke played 115 Tests for Australia and scored 8643 runs at an average of 49.10.
