Bhopal: Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Thursday said the decision regarding his son Jaiwardhan contesting the Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls in 2013 would only be taken by the party leadership. "The Assembly elections are around two years away from now and it would not be proper to say anything about them right now," he told a news agency. Singh also said that in any case no individual can decide on his own whether or not he will throw his hat in the poll ring from a particular constituency.
"In Jaiwardhan`s case as well, the decision regarding his contesting the elections would be taken by the party leadership," the former chief minister said.
Replying to a query on ‘padyatra’ undertaken by his son from yesterday, Singh said, "it is only to know about the problems faced by the people in Raghogarh constituency in Guna district of the state".
