Sarfraz Ahmed`s wife on MS Dhoni`s wife: Sakshi is partly responsible for Indian skipper`s success

Sarfraz Ahmed was recently appointed as the new captain of Pakistan T20 captain.

...Behind every successful man is a woman, and that's what new Pakistan Twenty20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed’s wife Syeda Khushbakht said about Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

She said that MS Dhoni's success has a lot to do with Sakshi.

"Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, is a known face and I admire her a lot. She has been a lucky charm for MSD. I don’t know what would I tell her when an opportunity comes to meet her in the box [during a match in the future]. I may become speechless to see her at that time…," Syeda was quoted by Deccan Chronicle saying.

She then added that her own name also mean "girl with a happy luck".

Syeda also revealed that her husband admires the Indian limited overs' captain and adopted many good things from the legendary skipper.

“Dhoni is a living legend. He has got every trophy which he fought for and my husband, Sarfraz has adopted many good things from him," she said.

“The good news [about Sarfraz being given T20 captaincy] came on Tuesday when the PCB chairman called Sarfraz and informed him. Honestly, it was a surprise for us. It was his dream to lead the Pakistan team.

"My husband has guts as we saw in our recent Pakistan Super League (PSL). I will be standing next to the skipper so that he can fulfill the desires of our nation to become the World champion again,” she added.
