To avoid injuries, Nehra has decided to skip football sessions with the team.

"I would love to play football with the team, but I have had so many injuries in the past, so I try to keep football away from my schedule," he was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.

Nehra made an international comeback after four years when he was recalled into the Indian T20I squad for T20I series against Australia.

The 36-year-old is yet to find form as he picked just two wickets in the three-match T20I series vs Aussies and followed it with a two-wicket haul against the Lankans in ongoing series.

The challenge for Nehra is to remain fit for the upcoming World Twenty20. Apart from him, India have just two more pacers in Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.
