The 23-year-old bowler produced an impressive performance, taking nine wickets in seven matches in Bangladesh's Twenty20 league after ending his five-year ban for spot-fixing in September.

Former fast bowler Younis said that Amir deserves to come back in the cricketing community and enhance his profession, Sport24 reported.

Amir, who is still undergoing the PCB rehabilitation program, had been banned alongwith Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif for their involvement in the infamous no-balls in the Lord's Test against England in 2010.
