Yasir Shah to continue with `aggressive` approach post series win
Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah has said he will continue with his aggressive and attacking bowling approach.
Karachi: Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah has said he will continue with his aggressive and attacking bowling approach after helping Pakistan claim a 2-0 series win over England.
"I am by nature aggressive and attacking in bowling. I need rhythm and it comes with being aggressive in my stride. When I get slow, I lose the control and end up bowling short and loose. So I try to attack. I am trying hard to be patient but being attacking is my strength," the 29-year-old was quoted, as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
"I am presently focusing on my strength and want to keep it simple. I just want to make sure that I keep my head up and hit my target bowling wicket-to-wicket," he added.
Ahead of the third Test in Sharjah, Shane Warne had visited and held a one-on-one session with fast-rising Yasir.
Speaking on his meeting with Warne, Yasir said there are many things which he had learnt from the legend, adding that he needs some time to follow those tricks.
Yasir was adjudged as the Man-of-the-Series for claiming 15 wickets in the series despite missing the first Test due to injury.
Both teams will now take each other on in a four-match ODI series from November 11 and a three-match T20 series from November 26.
