New Delhi: Delhi's Unmukt Chand showed his solidity against Himachal Pradesh as his side booked the finale of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Unmukt has grown as a player in the Delhi side and has played a pivotal role in the team. Unmukt's contribution has paid dividends in the most crucial phase for Delhi. The 22-year-old's experience has helped skipper Gautam Gambhir as Delhi look to go big for the coveted trophy.


Unmukt smashed an unbeaten 80 runs against HP and this innings came after his important 118 in the quarters. Delhi will bank on the youngster once again in the final and his presence has lifted up the mood in the team.

Axar Patel recorded a career-best List A figures of 6/43 as Gujarat beat Tamil Nadu. This spell will give Axar a lot of confidence ahead of the crucial final and also the ODI series.


Axar's battle against Unmukt in the final will be a treat for the fans as both youngsters will look to outwit eachother.


Axar knows a good performance in the final will help him immensely. He has to fight for a place against Ravindra Jadeja given Ravichandran Ashwin will be the main spinner.


Axar made a huge impact for Gujarat after denting TN with quick wickets and will look to do the same against Delhi.
