New Delhi: The 15th edition of the European championship will kick-off with hosts France taking on Romania in a Group A clash at Stade de France, Saint-Denis today.

France obviously start as the favourites, but in a tournament of such magnitude, anything can happen. The fact that France (17) are ranked just fifth positions above Romania in the latest FIFA ranking is good enough a reason for Didier Deschamps to throw in extra caution.


As usual, the star-studded French line-up, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and N'Golo Kante playing in front of home crowd, will be a treat to watch.
