According to a report in the Hindustan Times, chances of Chennai hosting the Saturday game reduced by 50% late evening on Monday.

Pune is being considered as a potential venue for the high-profile fixture. A decision in the matter is likely to be made on Tuesday.

The Chennai team is still in Pune, the venue of their last league game, and are likely to stay put till Friday irrespective of the outcome of ISL management's decision.

Since stadia in Navi Mumbai and Kochi have already been handed over to the authorities, Chennaiyin will have to play their home leg in Pune.

Chennaiyin have hit form at the right time. But playing against defending champions at a neutral venue puts them at a disadvantage.
