New Delhi: NorthEast United FC and Delhi Dynamos will be engrossed in an exciting battle in match No. 49 on Saturday in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015, at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati.

Delhi lie third in the points table and will want to go up to second in the table. They have played a game less than Goa in second place. A win for Delhi will also see them have a difference of four points from Neast.

The last time these two sides met, it was a 1-1 draw.


Dynamos come from a huge loss in their last match against Chennaiyin FC and it looks like they have work to do given Saturday's encounter is an away tie.


NorthEast meanwhile, stay fourth in the ISL table and have played a match more than their opponents. A win will see them go second in the points table and altogether this will be a match with lots of intensity and fight.


The Indira Gandhi will hope to witness an intense 90 minutes of enthralling football given the situation both teams will want to see themseves in. The tactical approach will be the key here as Delhi will have to be cautious of the Neast attacking quartet.

Simao (NEast United FC): Simao is essential to Neast who need their man on Saturday to deliver the goods. He has been in great form of late since returning to full fitness. With three goals and two assists, Simao has been a livewire on the field. With his free-kick skills, he will be eager to get on the scoresheet once again.


John Arne Riise (Delhi Dynamos): The former Liverpool defender will be crucial in leading the backline with all of his experience. Riise had a terrible day against Chennaiyin FC and will want to better his show on Saturday. Riise's passing ability is an added value to the side. He has also made 107 clearences this term and is expected to be tough to play against.
