Wenger revealed on Monday that Frenchman got a knee injury in the weekend Premier League defeat against West Bromwich Albion and will miss the games until at least February, reports Xinhua.

"We will be without Coquelin for certainly the next two months," Wenger told a news conference.

"We have players -- (Mathieu) Flamini and Calum Chambers have been educated as central midfielders so there are good opportunities for other players to show up and show they can do the job."

Wenger said that he expected his side to bounce back in the European Champions League on Tuesday against Dinamo Zagreb where they need to win and hope for Bayern Munich to win as well in order keep alive their chance of making the knock-out rounds.
