New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Portugal squad on Sunday ahead of Euro 2016 after a much deserved beak following Real Madrid`s Champions League victory.

The 31-year-old superstar missed his country`s 1-0 friendly defeat to England at Wembley on Thursday as he was given time off to recover from a long season.


But he is expected play against Estonia in a final friendly on June 8, two days before Euro 2016 starts.


The Real Madrid front-man looked jaded during Real`s record making 11th Champions League final win against Atletico Madrid in Milan.


He scored the decisive penalty in the shoot-out at San Siro.


During the time off, he was photographed enjoying a break aboard a yacht off the Spanish Balearic island of Ibiza.


Portugal will face Iceland in Saint-Etienne in their Group F opener on June 14.
