New Delhi: In the last quarter-final of Euro 2016, striker Olivier Giroud scored two brilliant goals to help France register a comprehensive 5-2 win over Iceland.

Giroud gave the hosts a lead in the 12th minute of the game with a well-directed powerful left-footed shot.



It was Giroud's second goal of the tournament.


After France took a 4-1 lead, Giroud showed his class once again when he netted one of the crosses for a goal with a brilliant header.



France will now take on Germany in second semi-final of Euro 2016.
