For Zlatan Ibrahimovic age is just a number, wants to continue playing till age of 50
The United striker scored both the goals against West Bromwich Albion, and has now scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.
Johannesburg: Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who believes that age is just a number, has insisted he can go on to play for another 15 years if he stays healthy and continues to find the back of the net.
Despite being 35-years-old, Ibrahimovic has been in prime form this season and has scored 10 times in his last nine matches in competitions, thus proving that he is still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to scoring goals.
"I feel happy, I feel good.Even if I`m 35, in my mind I`m 20," Sport24 quoted Ibrahimovic as saying. "I think I could play also at 50, but it won`t be down to me. The older I get, the better I get, like red wine! You like red wine? I`m a perfect example of that. The older I get, the better I play.
"Revealing the secret behind his success, the Swede said that taekwondo has helped him a lot to stay in shape."I`ve played in different championships, in different countries, and you need to adapt your body to the game and the way it`s played here," he said.
The United striker scored both the goals in his side`s 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday and has now scored 16 goals in all competitions this season, besides having three assists to his name as well.
