New Delhi: Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Delhi Dynamos on Tuesday unvieled legendary Italian winger Gianluca Zambrotta as their new manager.

Zambrotta, 39, is World Cup winner and has coaching experience of more than a year having served as a player-cum-assistant coach at Swiss club Chiasso before being a head coach there since 2014 summer till his sacking in April, 2015.


The former Barcelona, Milan and Juventus player signed a two-year deal with Dynamos and will start his engagement in the third edition of the ISL later this year.



Zambrotta took over from another World Cup winner, Brazilian Roberto Carlos.


Zambrotta, who won the World Cup in 2006, earned 98 caps for Italy which included playing at three European Championships and three World Cups.
