New Delhi: FIFA Ballon d'Or finalists Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar were on Friday named in the 2015 UEFA’s Team of the Year, which was dominated by players from Barcelona.

Eight players from Spanish premier division La Liga were included in the final XI, voted for by 7.2 million UEFA.com users from a 40-strong shortlist.


As expected Barcelona players dominated the list after their treble winning season, in which they have have claimed La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League titles.


Interestingly, no player from the English Premier League made to the list.


Besides Messi and Neymar, the list also have other Barca players in Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, and Andres Iniesta.


For Barca's eternal rivals Real Madrid, three players cut the list -- Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez. It's a record 10th appearance for Ronaldo in the dream team.


Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich had goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and defender David Alaba representing from Germany, while Juventus’s Paul Pogba made it for Italy’s Serie A.


Neymar, Rodriguez and Pogba were in the list for the first time in their respective careers.
