While the Red Devils made a return to the UEFA Champions League group stages, they probably paid a price for complacency as a result of which they suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of PSV Eindhoven.

After the scores were level at 1-1, it was the decisive goal from Luciano Narsingh in the 56th minute which made the difference.

The 25-year-old, who was born in Amsterdam, Narsingh's grandparents were immigrant workers from Andhra Pradesh earning a living at the plantations in Suriname, a former Dutch colony.

He came into the limelight in the Dutch League in the year 2010-11 when he made 24 league appearances scoring on five occasions. But his standout season was 2011-12 where he struck 20 goals for his team, more than anyone else in the league, which triggered PSV to make a 4.1 million euro bid for the winger.
