New Delhi: Manchester Untied superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic hardly needs to introduce himself no matter which part of the world he is in. The former Swedish International has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world – AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Paris St. Germain, Juventus, Ajax and now Man Utd.

Already 35 years old, the Swede seems to be getting better with age considering the amount of goals he scored in previous season for the French champions PSG.


Though he looks se to stay at Old Trafford for a couple of years, fans still wonder what his next step might be.


In an interview with the Indian Express, ISL outfit Delhi Dynamos' coach Gianluca Zambrotta said that Zlatan will not mind playing in India after his retirement from European football.


“Given his fan following in India, I think Zlatan would want to come and end his career here. On my end, I will definitely try and convince him to play for Delhi Dynamos,” Zambrotta said.


Zambrotta and Zlatan have been teammates during their times at Juventus and AC Milan.


Zambrotta took the reigns as Delhi Dynamos head coach in ahead of the start of the Indian Super League season 3.


His former Italian teammate Alessandro Del Piero was the marquee player for Delhi club in the first season.


“Del Piero told me good things about the club and their sincerity towards football, which convinced me that it is the perfect opportunity for me,” The Delhi Dynamos coach said.


“India will soon be a big destination for international football. Given the level of competitiveness in the Indian Super League and the quality of Indian players, I am sure it will be amongst the top five football leagues of the world in the next decade,” Zambrotta added.
