New Delhi, Dec 2: Hurt and humiliated by BCCI, Chairman of selectors Dilip Vengsarkar threatened to quit from the post. Reportedly in a meeting held with BCCI chief Sharad Pawar in Kolkata on Saturday he expressed his desire to quit from the job.
The latest bouncer from Vengsarkar comes because he felt as chairman selection he was not consulted for shifting the venue of the selection meeting. Meanwhile BCCI decided to postpone the meeting which was originally scheduled for Dec 04.

The Indian cricket team for the tour of Australia will be picked on Wednesday in Bangalore, a top Indian cricket board official said here Saturday.
"It has been decided that the selection committee meeting will be held in Bangalore on Wednesday," the official told agency. The selectors have been insisting on meeting in Kolkata Tuesday for some reason but the board did not agreed with the date and venue.
When asked if the selectors have agreed to travel to Bangalore for the meeting, he said: "Why will they not go? They will have to go in any case."
Interestingly, chairman of selection committee Dilip Vengsarkar was not aware of the date of the meeting.
"No date has been fixed for the meeting so far. I haven`t been told anything about the venue," Vengsarkar, who is watching the ongoing India-Pakistan second Test here, told.
Board president Sharad Pawar and others also watched the second day`s action at the Eden Gardens.
An idea was earlier floated that the selectors might pick the team via teleconference. But that idea has obviously not found favour with the board officials.
The decision of the selection committee meeting was taken at board`s office bearers meeting here.
