Cong for judicial panel to probe in illegal mining
The Opposition Congress in MP dared shivraj Singh Chouhan to set up a judicial commission to look into charges of illegal mining.
Bhopal: The Opposition Congress in Madhya
Pradesh on Sunday dared Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to
set up a judicial commission to look into charges of illegal
mining in the BJP-ruled State.
In a statement here, Leader of Opposition in the
Assembly Ajay Singh said giving directives through video
conferencing to check illegal mining hardly served any
purpose.
He was referring to the recent directives given by the Chief Minister to officials to curb illegal mining. Instead, the Government should set up a judicial commission, headed by a retired High Court Judge, to look into the issue, the Congress leader maintained. PTI
