Srinagar: Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Saturday decided to observe a one-day strike on Monday to press its demand for rollback of Jammu and Kashmir government`s order of transferring land registration work from judiciary to revenue department. "It was decided that lawyers will boycott courts in the Valley on Monday to protest the government`s move to transfer the registration powers from civil courts to revenue authorities," the Association`s general secretary G N Shaeen said after a meeting of the lawyers` body here. The government move is unacceptable to the Bar Association, he said. PTI
