Chennai: Tamil Nadu`s anti-corruption arm, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), Friday raided the premises of key officials of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on complaints of recruitment irregularities, said officials. According to DVAC officials, searches were being held at around 70 premises in 12 districts. These included premises of those who sat for the recruitment exams for various posts. The Friday raids are in continuation of earlier searches by DVAC teams at the residences and offices of top TNPSC officials including its chairman, R.Sellamuthu.
The DVAC also raided the premises of people considered to be touts in the recruitment by the TNPSC.
